Adding Officers to Maize Pages

  1. Go to Maize Pages

    https://maizepages.umich.edu

  2. Log in using your U-M credentials (use the same login as Wolverine Access).

  3. Access the SOCHI MaizePages RosterUse the sidebar profile icon → “Organizational Tools” → “Roster”.

  4. Click “+ Invite People”Add the officer’s @umich.edu email addressSelect the correct position title from the drop-down (e.g., Director of Marketing, Co-President)

  1. Send the Invite

    They’ll receive an email with instructions to confirm their role.

  2. Confirm Acceptance

    Follow up with them to make sure they accepted the invite so their role appears publicly on the site.

Adding Officers to the MCommunity Listserv

What is a listserv? Essentially, a listserv is a shared email address hosted on MCommunity. This way, you can type in one email address (ex. “[email protected]”) and everyone in SOCHI gets the email. We also use this email address for sending out newsletters, so

  1. Go to MCommunity

    https://mcommunity.umich.edu

  2. Search for SOCHI’s Email GroupType “[email protected]” in the search field

Alternatively, go to “My Groups” in the top right corner and select “[email protected]

Alternatively, send out an email to ask each e-board member to add themselves to the SOCHI MCommunity at “[email protected]” and ignore the rest of the steps.

  1. Click on the List Name → Then select “Edit Group”

  2. Click + Add Members

    Enter each new officer’s @umich.edu email
